SSL Certificates
(https://)
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the technology which allows authenticated, encrypted communication between a
server and a browser on the internet. When the SSL technology is being used, a small lock ( )is
displayed in the status bar of the web browser. Additionally, the URL in the address box begins with 'https://'
instead of just http:// Web users have learned to look for the existence of the lock prior to submitting any form
containing sensitive information.
If you are selling products or services on the internet, your customers will require that your site display
the lock symbol before they purchase. Focus Today is able to offer you a personalized QuickSSL Premium™ SSL
Certificate (https://www.yourdomain.com) and security seal from GeoTrust for only $169.00.
